28030

Craft beer

28030 is named after the postal code of Moratalaz and sells where competition is toughest: specialty shops, craft beer bars and fairs. We turned its labels into its identity. Today every release comes out with its own system that keeps the family resemblance across collections.

THE STARTING POINT

They had a logo, but no way to stand out in a fridge full of labels all demanding attention at once.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED

We defined label standards that work as an identity: a palette of its own pastels, fixed typefaces and a shared graphic line. Collections change, but the rules stay, so each new beer adds recognition instead of starting from scratch. Each collection takes a part of Moratalaz, like its metro stops or its parks, and gives the brand a theme the neighborhood’s crowd recognizes as its own.

Every label starts in pencil. We then digitize it to work on the color, textures and finish. That step on paper gives the cans a human stroke that stands out on the shelf and is hard to copy.

THE BRAND IN DIGITAL

From the shelf to the screen, without losing character.

28030’s next step was to reach its audience without intermediaries. We took the brand to a brand website and store conceived as its online launch: the 3D can changes label while telling the story of each beer, from the neighborhood to the first sip, all the way to the purchase. The identity that works in the fridge works just as well on screen.

Is your product getting lost on the shelf? Tell us what you do and together we’ll find a way to make it recognizable at first sight.
